We lost a best-selling author today! Tom Clancy died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD after a brief illness. Clancy wrote primarily spy thriller novels, and has been called, "Master of Modern-Day Thriller". Clancy's novel, The Hunt for Red October, published in 1984, became one of his most famous novels and the first to bring him fame and fortune. From this, Clancy was put on the map as one of America's favorite military storyteller.
Clancy was just 66 years old.
