Happy Birthday, Jerry Pallotta!

Happy Birthday to Jerry Pallotta, who writes fiction and nonfiction books for children. Growing up around 6 brothers and sisters, 72 cousins, and later marrying and having 4 children of his own, he says there have been KIDS EVERYWHERE throughout his life.  
Although he didn't write his first book until the age of 32, he has been steadily writing ever since.  


His book, The Icky Bug Alphabet Book, has sold over 1 million copies.  While speaking in schools, he learned that teachers wanted simple nonfiction nature books, so he set out to complete that task.  From that, The Icky Bug Alphabet book was written.
It is colorfully written and beautifully illustrated.  In fact,  he now has over 20 alphabet books!

Today, he loves visiting schools, speaking at conferences, and notes that there are still KIDS EVERYWHERE!
