In LIBS 451, we celebrated the 100th day...
100th Day of 2014:
April 10
100th Day of Semester: April 18
Therefore, participated in a 100th day celebration on
Monday, April 14, which is directly in the middle of the 10th and 18th.
We cut out our "100" glasses and wore them proudly! (we even had a few selfies going on in the class)!
I used one of my favorites characters, Fancy Nancy to support our celebration.
Fancy Nancy The 100th Day of School, by Jane O'Connor.
Since it is a 2nd grade reading level, we used 2nd grade standards.
We made necklaces in 10's totaling 100 beads in all, completed a 5 W's and sequencing graphic organizer, which demonstrated our comprehension, and we used a ruler to make measurements to also tie in additional math skills.
I thank my LIBS 451 students for indulging me and being such enthusiastic and engaged students today...You ROCK!
