The End of Another Semester

Here I sit, the night before the end of my third semester at UTM; Summer 1 of 2014.  The end of a semester is always a bittersweet time for me!  I have had the pleasure of working with dynamic students at UTM and I always hate to see the semester end; summer has been a particularly short semester that seemed to fly by.

As an educator, it has always been my hope that I have instilled a love of reading within my students or perhaps rekindled a lost love (or reading), encouraged them to think 'outside the box', explore technology, and individualize their thinking and learning.

So, as I reflect on the end of my first year at UTM, I am honored to work at such a fabulous institution of higher learning, where students are engaged and always striving to be their very best.  I came across this wonderful saying that I thought was most appropriate, so I have chosen to see endings as beginnings!  Enjoy & Read On!
