Don't You Forget About Me

   

Watching the Billboard Music Awards & couldn't help but think of my first READ 433/633 class that I taught...Fall 2013!  Simple Minds just sang Don't You (Forget About Me), which was the #1 hit this week 25 years ago...and who better to introduce them, but Molly Ringwald.

Well...my students could not believe that I had never seen The Breakfast Club!  After all, they reminded me...it was "during my time."  Remarkably, the next class...there sat on the computer...a brand new DVD of the movie just for me.  

So, this is a shout out to that READ 433/633 class during my first fall at UTM!
