World Teacher's Day

Today, October 5 is World Teacher's Day!  So...what does that really mean?  Honestly, I am not quite sure!  I saw only one post on Facebook from a former educator...nothing on Twitter, nor Instagram, nor on the news?  Unfortunately, teachers are often under appreciated, but for most, it matters not.  For you see, the majority of us went into teaching to make a difference in a child's life...to be THAT difference!  Our students and their learning is how we receive our appreciation.  So, this is a shout out to all of my fellow educators...for all you do and for my pre-service teachers...for all you will do!  It is my hope that YOU will be the difference for your students.
