An exciting day: Graduation Day at UTM!  Pictured is Heather Mullis, my university scholar, whom I mentored.  She chose to explore children's books and the importance of using literature in the classroom, but most importantly, she self-published her very own book, of which I had the pleasure of editing along the way.  

Her book, entitled, A Hunt for Belonging" is a story of "friends" who meet along their journey.  Each page of the book introduces characters, of whom are introduced to us through literacy devices!
