My LIBS 451 Maymester class was lucky enough to have a special reader visit! Chancellor Carver came to read, Thank You, Mr. Faulker. It is the wonderful true story written by Patricia Polacco, about her very own life as a struggling reader. Luckily, her path crossed Mr. Faulker, who changed her life forever.
As a thank you to Dr. Carver, we made a "quotation quilt" and on our quilt, each student shared why they chose to come to UTM. He loved it! LIBS 451 Maymester 2017 is pictured below:
