Elementary Teachers Take on STEM Activities
What an exciting, engaging, and hands-on workshop for northwest TN teachers! My colleague, Dr. Kimberly Williams and I facilitated a STEM workshop for elementary teachers in our area. We used interactive student notebooks to log our results and document our learning. Thanks to the TQP Grant, we were able to provide each teacher with STEM kits AND a bag full of books to integrate with each science lesson. Here, we are working with the Farmer Grady kit, to best determine the better roof to keep our farms and crops safe. Real world application, critical thinking, and FUN!
