The Moments We Remember As Teachers

Each year, I celebrate DOT Day with my LIBS class and read Peter H. Reynolds' book, The Dot.  This year, I received something extra special!  A former student, who is now kindergarten teacher, celebrated Dot Day with her students and sent this picture to me!  She was excited to share with me that not only was this new to her students, but many of her colleagues had not heard of Dot Day!  Passing along, sharing, and celebrating literacy is what it's all about.  Thank you, Taylor, for sharing and making YOUR mark!
