We often hear the saying, "it takes a village to raise" in reference to children. But, this...says it all: It Takes a LIBRARY to Raise a Child! Reading is so critically important and certainly a hot topic in schools across the country. We must find a way to bring family, community, and school together and share in the responsibility of raising literate children.
It starts at home.
It should continue at school.
It can develop through a library.
