While at the Celebration of Reading, I had the opportunity to meet my favorite weatherman, Robert Van Winkle, from NBC-2. Interestingly enough, he also reported on the weather in my hometown of Charlottesville, VA prior to coming to Ft. Myers. He is absolutely charming and has agreed to come visit my school and speak to my AVID students. Will keep you posted!
