My 1st Animoto

During this semester, I have enjoyed taking Seminar in Composition Pedagogy. Professor Sheila Bolduc-Simpson encouraged us not only to embrace technology, but how to INCORPORATE technology into an English Composition Classroom. Throughout the course, I have worked with numerous Web 2.0 tools and have been amazed at not only HOW many there are, but more importantly, that I CAN DO IT!
I am clearly not a millennial student...having been born in the mid-1960's (did I really just say that out loud)
. Classes such as this make me dig DEEP within myself and TEST me on several levels. I have used the following tools: Prezis, Slideshare, ToonDoo, Voki, and Animoto...just to name a few. To see my latest adventure using Animoto, see the bottom of this page and click on My Animoto. I have added this as a Gadget, of course! In this short 30 second video, I used pictures to depict the tools used to teach and engage the millennial students of today...
One can only imagine: What will tomorrow bring???
Thank you, Professor Bolduc-Simpson...for taking me out of my comfort zone...and making me feel more in touch with millennials! "You da best"
