I Was Here

Having read If I Stay and Where She Went, also by Gayle Forman, I was excited to read her latest book.  WOW!
This was an enlightening story for me.  This is Cody's journey to find out why her best friend Meg committed suicide.  Having known two people that committed suicide, I must say, it is something that I have never understood.  Now, after reading I Was Here, I can honestly say that I have a better understanding, although I am not sure that I will ever REALLY understand suicide.

For me, life is precious, short, and always worth living; even when it's challenging, difficult, and overwhelming.  

This is a quick read, where you will become easily engrossed in Cody's journey; in fact, I read it in two "snowy days."
