How true is this statement? It is no surprise that people face numerous pressures in their everyday lives due to jobs, money, and everyday stress, but the most unfortunate pressures often come from social media. We cannot "log in" without seeing videos, pictures, and reading many negative comments about one another. However, we must be more willing to hide, ignore, or log off and remain steadfast in our own endeavors. In order for us to write the story of our lives, we must not only hold the pen ourselves, but we must not let others lead us to a detour...it is our pen, our story, and more importantly, our life. We know what works for us, what is right, and what is wrong. Online comments can be made easily...without facing someone...so it feels safe, almost anonymous...but always remember: the pen can be mightier than the sword...words can cut and cause irreparable damage. Hold your pen, write your story, be kind...there is no cost (or damage) to kindness. What will your story be?
