Time: It Takes a Village

This is a great reminder of the importance of time spent with children/students, but more importantly, it serves as a reminder that we need to work together: it takes a village.

For nearly the last decade, accountability remains at the forefront of education.  As the focus on accountability seems to continue to increase, we need to understand how to better engage parents and work together to better assist students.

In a perfect world, education would be funded appropriately and teachers would receive the professional development needed to better meet the needs of students...and time to meet those needs.  Parents and all other stakeholders would not only take an active interest in students, but also an active role in learning.
