An Excellent Strategy

 Open-Mind Portrait is a fun, engaging, and research-based reading strategy that helps improve comprehension.  I found this picture that portrays students' work and I think they are incredible examples.  They have truly captured the "character" and responded to the text, which is a critical piece of the comprehension puzzle!
