Interactive KWL

A KWL Chart is a widely used research-based strategy that provides students with opportunities to think and write about a topic before reading, during reading and after reading.  One of my students decided to apply this strategy in her teaching demonstration as an interactive KWL using a whole class grouping method. Her "students" used post it notes to complete the three-column chart using a poster board.  

This was a creative way to use this strategy and encouraged a great class discussion!
