I think this is a great visual, which includes questions to consider (when lesson planning) as well as applicable verbs to engage students.

It is critical that we get students to the evaluating and creating level...move them beyond the remembering and understanding levels; but in order to do this, we must prepare ourselves because it rarely happens accidentally.
