Poetry is not dead! But, unfortunately, it is often ignored in many classrooms. When taught in an engaging manner, poetry can provide students with a creative way to write and think about the world around them. It is my hope that we continue to teach, celebrate, and write poetry. Happy World Poetry Day: March 21
