Reading & Writing Workshops Begin

READ 448:  Today, students started presenting their Reading & Writing Workshops, which is always an exciting time!  This semester, my students are focusing on a science or social studies theme and teaching from technology using a WebQuest.  They will engage in an interactive read aloud using a nonfiction text, which targets the elementary school classroom.

Today, one of the presentations focused on weather and we learned new vocabulary and the many facets of weather!  I am certainly looking forward to engaging presentations by UTM's finest teacher candidates and future classroom teachers!
