International Children's Book Day

Today is International Children's Book Day:  April 2, 2018.

In LIBS 451, I have been enjoying the diversity book share presentations by my teacher candidates. For this assignment they choose a diverse children's book to read aloud to the class and plan a hands-on activity in an effort to respond to the text.

Meanwhile, in LIBS 452, I have been enjoying the group presentations that represent a country and its involvement in WWII as well as the literature circles surrounding Elephant Run, by Roland Smith.

How are you enjoying International Children's Book Day and more importantly, what will you share and read aloud today?
