National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month!  I happened to see this calendar celebrating famous poets on Twitter posted by NCTE (National Council fo Teachers of English).  

For me, April brings not only the end of the Spring semester, but also the Poetry Cafe, which is something that I look forward to every semester. In LIBS 451 and 452, I facilitate a Poetry Cafe, which is not only a celebration of poetry, but also an opportunity to engage students in writing various types of poetry.  

I challenge you to write, share, & write some more!
